LIVER Transplant
The Washington DC VA Medical Center has entered a partnership with MedStar Health and the MedStar Georgetown Transplant institute for liver transplant care. This will expedite referral and evaluation of patients with chronic liver disease and cirrhosis for possible transplantation. We expect to see more of these patients within our VA Medical Center.
